The student thanks their family, friends, best friend, and God for supporting them through a difficult first quarter of school. Their family provided emotional and practical support, while their friends and best friend comforted them and helped boost their confidence, especially in art classes where the student struggled. Despite ups and downs, the student was able to pass the quarter thanks to these supportive people in their life.

As the academic year started, it had been a not – so – good
for me. I had my fair share of ups and downs and experiences that taught me lessons for life. It was a great quarter, indeed. Despite of all the hardships, I managed to pass those hardships.
Working alone is what I love because I get time to think and
organize my thoughts but now, I will not be able to pass this quarter if not for the people who help me get here. I thank my family for being supportive all the way through. They gave me things that I needed and the attention that I want from them. I thank my siblings for helping me when I’m on my verge of breaking down. I am a soft person and I cry easily but I do not want my classmates to see my true self anymore. I thank my family for comforting me always. My friends also played roles in my 1st quarter. They have been my back – ups. They helped me get through. They are the only ones who sees me crying now. I also want to give my best friend great gratitude because she was always there whenever I want to breakdown because of Art. I suck at Arts. I like seeing paintings and such but I couldn’t imagine myself doing such masterpiece by people with great talent. I’m really not good in the field. My best friend cheered me up always. She comforts me. Here’s to the last but I want to give my heart as offering of gratitude, the Lord. I will never be able to achieve this. He gave me grace to withstand everything. He poured me love so that I will not feel unloved even though, I am not worthy. He made me worthy of every privilege a child of God beholds. He never makes me sad and cheers me up just like what my best friend always did.
“No man is an island,” therefore, I want deeply glad to have
these people with me not just to get through school stuff but also the challenges in life. They managed to be with me up to this day. I am going to be forever grateful for the favors they have given me. With these people by my side, I can say that hardships will be paid off real good.
