    Wangan National High School implemented a school-based feeding program to reduce acute malnutrition among learners. Physical education teachers identified 26 students in grades 7 through senior high school who were severely or moderately wasted. The technical livelihood education coordinator prepared low-cost, nutritious meals and served fresh milk according to a balanced menu. During feeding, proper hand washing and other health practices were observed. Students enjoyed and were satisfied with the healthy foods.

    NARRATIVE REPORT IN FEEDING PROGRAM

    In or order to intensify the health and nutrition among our learners, Wangan National High

    School spearheaded with the Nutrition/Feeding Coordinator in running targeted supplementary school

    based feeding program for wasted and severely wasted learners of this school. This program aims the

    reduction of acute malnutrition among learners.

    MAPEH teachers threshed-out those who were severely wasted and wasted learners among Grade

    7 – Senior High School learners. There were 26 beneficiaries on school based feeding program. The TLE

    coordinator prepared nutritious meals following at low cost and balance menu. In addition, a glass of fresh

    milk were also serve.

    During Feeding, health care practices were also observe such as proper hand washing.

    Everyone enjoyed and satisfied in healthy foods that I served. After that we take pictures as a

    documentation in our accomplishment report.
