SLO: Discuss with co-participants the dangers of drugs and drug trafficking to prevent increase in drug-
related cases of OFWs.

Method of Teaching: Role Play

Task: Using the assigned method of teaching designate 2 pairs of trainees from the group to role play
the scenario given below. The assigned member to play the role of the teacher must provide debriefing
to sum up the session.

Scenario: What would you do if a shipmate confided that a shore staff or a stevedore is trying to
convince him to join their drug dealing business?

Course: PSSR

SLO: Demonstrate the step by step procedure in donning life jacket based on the instruction manual.

Method of Teaching: Demonstration (Topic: Donning a life jacket)

Tasks: With the given topic, present a mock-up class where 2 members will portray the role as trainers
and the rest as trainees. Prepare corresponding IG and TLA. Be guided by the levels of learning in
psychomotor domain.

SLO: Apply resuscitation techniques to prevent further complications.

Method of Teaching: Demonstration (Topic: Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)

Tasks: With the given topic, present a mock-up class where 2 members will portray the role as trainers
and the rest as trainees. Prepare corresponding IG and TLA. Be guided by the levels of learning in
psychomotor domain.

Course: Proficiency in Survival Craf

SLO: Demonstrate lifeboat maneuver on deep water surface based on the operation manual.

Method of Teaching: Field Study: IDESS, Nabasan Beach, SBMA, Subic, Zambales (debriefing phase only)

Task: With the above given information, conduct a mock-up class wherein the group had just completed
a field study. The assigned participant who will play the role of the trainer will be focusing on the
debriefing phase only (granting that the lecture/theoretical phase was conducted prior the conduct of
the field trip).
