Greetings of Peace!

The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – Region X and

CARAGA Council is the umbrella organization and a family of all Accountancy students
in the joint-region. As a partner of National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of
Accountants (NFJPIA), our regional council aims to realize a home of unity, solidarity,
academic excellence, leadership promotion, and holistic development to more than
3,000 future Certified Public Accountants in the making.

In this regard, NFJPIA-Region 10 and CARAGA has been working consistently to provide
its members activities that promote professional development and camaraderie while
maintaining the tradition of academic excellence. We, from the National Federation of
Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – Region X and CARAGA Council are
happy to invite you on our 18th Regional Mid-Year Convention on September 27-29,
2019 at Pilgrim Christian College, Cagayan de Oro City. Furthermore, attending
delegates in this convention would be representatives from different local chapters,
advisers, school deans, and faculties and well respected guests.

With the theme "GILAS: Unveiling Flair and Excellence —Continuing the JPIAn
Legacy”, the 18th Regional Mid-Year Convention specifically aims to:
1. Unite the Accountancy students of the joint-region help them develop healthy
and positive associations with each other;
2. Strengthen the congenial tie that binds the 23 Local Chapters of the Regions;
3. Raise academic excellence through the various academic competitions;
 4. Hone and showcase JPIAn talents and develop their teambuilding capacities
through various non-academic competitions;
5. Inspire the students of the bigger role they play as constituents of an even bigger
JPIA community;
6. Inculcate leadership skills among future business leaders; and
7. Open opportunities for growth to the RFJPIA through the guidance of the private
companies, government and non-profit institutions, and other pioneer entities.
