Air pollution happens when the surrounding air appears to be foggy, hazy or not comfortable to breathe or have odd
smell to it. These are the results of several human activities; such as burning the fossil fuels. The examples of fossil
fuels are the coals, petroleum, dieses of natural gas which used to produce electricity. Besides that, various types of
vehicles release carbon dioxide into the air, along with other pollutants emitted from the fumes.
This phenomenon is known as the Eclipse of the Sun. The Sun will appear dark or black, as if it is
covered. The surrounding area on the Earth will also be dark as it seems like the nightfall. This is
caused by the shadow cast by the Moon. This phenomenon usually occurred during the New Moon
phase. This happened at the moment when the Moon revolved around the Earth and reached a spot
between the Sun and the Earth. From the Earth, a viewer can see the Sun appeared to be covered
completely.
