ORGANIZATION IN NOTRE DAME OF TRECE MARTIREZ

INTRODUCTION

This research concerns to the students that have been prioritize their school organization/s

rather than their studies that may have been affect to their grades or school performance. This

research have interest on how school organization’s impact to the student’s life and their

behavior, on how people in their organization helps them to improve their attitude and

personality. It helps to them on how they interact properly on the people.

This study should consider about the effectiveness and ineffectiveness of having a school

organization. This study may help students. This research wanted to understand the perception

of the students in Notre Dame of Trece Martirez City have about school organization and their

impact on the students’ development, engagement, and success.

This study aims to know what are the experiences of the students when they joined school

organization, on how they react to their co-students. School organization serves the same goals

and functions as the required and elective strand in their curriculum. However, they provide

experiences that are not included in formal courses of study.

They allow students to apply the knowledge that they have learned in other classes and acquire

concepts of democratic life. School organization have many positive effects on education. The

positive effects that school organization have on students are behavior, better grades, school

completion, positive aspects to become successful adults, and a social aspect. The first effect that

school organization have on education is behavior. Students that participate in that particular

activities have reduced behavior problems.

Statement of the Problem


In order to focus the research, the following question was addressed:

1. What are the perception of Grade 11 students in joining school organization?

2. How the Grade 11 students manage their time in joining school organization?

3. What are the reasons for joining school organization?

Objective of the Study

This research was conducted to know the perception of the Grade 11 student in Notre Dame of

Trece Martirez. Specifically, this research aims to:

1. To know the perception of the grade 11 students in joining school organization in Notre

dame of Trece Martirez.

2. To know how they manage their time in joining school organization

3. To determine the reasons for joining and not joining school organization.

Significance of the Study

The result of this research will benefit the following:

Students. It will benefit to the student’s behavior because of the pride they achieve, they gain

better self respect, self esteem, and self confidence. They are then better able to resist unsafe

behaviors such as drug and alcohol use, gang involvement, and criminal activities. Higher grades

and positive attitudes towards school is the second effect that school organization have on

students. Self esteem can be a predictor of the academic performance.

School Organizations. They will learn some techniques on how they will have a better

organization. They will notice if they do some unnecessary things if they did, they will do some

actions to improve their knowledge to have a good organization.


Teachers.They will do some ideas and techniques on how to make students better. They will

teach more than they do and make their teaching skills improve.

Principal. It will help the principal to make more strategies and techniques to convince the

students to join in school organizations.

Scope and Delimitations

The focus of this study is directly towards to the grade 11 students of what are they

perception in joining school organization in Notre dame of Trece Martirez. The participants are

from different strands ( STEM, GAS, HUMMS, ICT, ABM and H.E ). The researchers randomly

choose one (1) representative in each strands where the respondents having perception in joining

school organization.

Definition of Terms

Academic Performance - is the extent to which a student, teacher or institution has attained their

short or long-term educational goals. Completion of educational benchmarks such as secondary

school diplomas and bachelor's degrees represent academic achievement.

Curriculum – is the courses that are taught by a school, college, etc.

Perception - is the organization, identification, and interpretation of sensory information in

order to represent and understand the presented information, or the environment.

School Organization- refers to how schools arrange the resources of time, space, and personnel

for maximum effect on student learning.
