BOILER
Type: Coal fired traveling chain grate type
Technical specifications:
1. Type : Steam drum , Natural circulation & middle pressure
2. Boiler safe operations conditions = 80% - 100% load (steam capacity = 40 T/H)
3. Rated steam pressure = 3.82 Mpa
4. Rated steam temperature = 450 degC
5. Rated feed water temperature = 150 degC
6. Blow down rate = 2%
7. Heat air temperature = 120 degC
8. Exhaust temperature = 160 degC
9. Boiler design efficiency = 81.5 %
10. Exhaust Air excess ratio = 1.5
11. Fuel consumption = 7209 kg/H
12. Steam drum dimension = φ 1500 mm; thickness = 46 mm; straight long = 6300 mm (steel plate)
13. Normal water level = 50 mm (high level 125 mm & low level -25 mm)
14. Internal steam drum contain 16 cyclone steam separators
15. BURNER = Mechanical wind force coal spreader; inverted chain grate & air supply system

BOILER AUXILIARY SYSTEM:


1. FEED WATER PUMP = capacity is 2x110%; One Pump in operations & the other pump is standby
2. LP FEEDWATER SYSTEM = piping outlet deaerator to inlet boiler feed water pump
3. HP FEED WATER SYSTEM = Outlet HP heater to Economizer (bypass hp heater pipe located near by HP
feed water heater which will be operated while HP Heater in failure)
Feed water pipe recirculation pipe connected to the deaerator – will be used for start up or during
low load operations
4. BOILER BLOWDOWN & DRAINS SYSTEM
Boiler equipped with continuous blow down tank; periodic blow down tank & drainage flash tank
5. COAL FEEDER SYSTEM
Each boiler equipped with 3 sets of coal stocker equipment which contains coal spreaders & wind
through coal device
6. FANS
The Fans are Force draft Fan, Induced draft fan & Primary air fan
7. ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator)
The 3 electric field ESP adopted for treatment fly ash of flue gas outlet boiler
8. STACK
The stack is share one set steel chimney – hight = 40 Meters, width = 2.0 Meters & velocity flue gas
stack outlet is 15 m/sec

STEAM TURBINE
Type: Non- reheat single flow steam turbine with horizontally flanged bolted join & direct couple with
generator shaft; single cylinder with middle pressure condensing type.
Technical specification:
1. Rated Power = 7 MW
2. Rated Speed = 3000 r/min
3. Rated steam inlet pressure = 3.43 Mpa
4. Rated steam inlet temperature = 435 degC
5. Main steam flow = 35.1 T/H

STEAM TURBINE AUXILIARY SYSTEM:

2. VACUUM PUMPING SYSTEM:
Air ejector to eject the leaked air or dearated air from the turbine & the condenser
One steam jet air ejectors & one starting ejector for each steam turbine
Design data Ejector:
Model: C-20 & CD14
Working steam pressure: 1.18 – 1.37 Mpa (abs) & 0.8 – 1.2Mpa (abs)
Working steam flow: 200 kg/h
Ejected dry air flow: 20 kg/h
3. LUBE OIL SYSTEM
Purpose:
As lubricating system for all Turbine bearing, provide pressure oil for operation of governing
protection system; for turning gear system & jacking oil system
Consist of:
1. Oil reservoir
2. Oil ejector
3. AC oil pump
4. DC drive motor oil pump
5. Main oil pump
6. Rotor jacking oil piping
7. Oil coolers (two cooler with capacity 2x100 % - one cooler in service & the other one is standby)
8. Oil vapor extraction blower

4. GLAND SEALING SYSTEM
Purpose is avoid any leaking steam to the atmosphere & prevent air coming to the vacuum system in
the low pressure end turbine
5. DRAIN SYSTEM OF TURBINE & PIPING
The purpose is draining condensation steam in the turbine proper & in the main steam pipe during
unit in startup & shutdown period
All the drain pipe connected & collected to the flash tank
6. CIRCULATING WATER SYSTEM
Provide cooling system for condenser, oil cooler & generator air cooler
7. DEAERATING SYSTEM
Purpose is to remove un-condensing gas in the water
Capacity deaerator is 50 T/H with operating pressure is 0.02 Mpa;
Temperature Outlet deaerator is 104 degC
Volume capacity is 25 m3

GENERATOR
The Generator is three phase, Two Pole & Synchronize Generator
Rated speed & Frequency is 3000 RPM & 50 Hz

GENERATOR AUXILIARY SYSTEM
1. EXCITATION SYSTEM
The excitation of brushless generator is supplied by the coaxial exciter
2. VENTILATION & COOLING SYSTEM
Type: Radial Multi flow ventilation – heat generated in the stator&rotor is dissipated away by cooling
air

3. Raw Water System
Raw Water Tank = 2x 400 m3
Make up Circulating water pump = 2x100% - supply water to cooling tower
Capacity of pump = 100 m3/h & Power = 2.2 KW
Chemical feed water pump = 2x100% - supply water to demineralization tank
Capacity = 25 m3/h & Power = 3KW
4. WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
