Environmental Policy:

1. We are aware of our responsibility for the environment and sustainable development.
2. With our high technological standard and professional maintenance services, we reduce
the environmental impact of our products and the products of our customers.
3. Our leaders are accountable for reducing the environmental impact of our activities. They
provide good examples and motivate our staff for environmental awareness.
4. . Every employee is responsible to undertake all reasonable measures to reduce the
environmental impact of his work.
5. We regularly review behavior, processes, facilities, and equipment for efficiency and
improvement opportunities.
6. When selecting suppliers, sub-contractors, and business partners, we consider their
environmental standards.
7. We review our environmental policy at least annually and adjust it to the changing needs
and increased knowledge.

Health & Safety Policy:

1 .The employees are the most precious resource of our company, and we foster a positive health
and safety culture.
2 . Health and Safety have the same priority as other business objectives.
3 . Our leaders are accountable for the high health and safety standards.
4 . They provide good examples and motivate our staff for highest awareness.
5 . We maintain and operate a health and safety management system equivalent to ISO Standard,
which is continuously improved.
6 . Every employee is responsible to undertake all reasonable measures to protect his own health
and safety.
7 . We regularly review behavior, work processes and conditions. Continual improvement of health
and safety is our obsession.
8 . When selecting suppliers, sub-contractors, and business partners, we consider their health and
safety standards.

1.0 PURPOSE
To promote and maintain the safety culture in the organization to ensure an active interest in safety
and to minimize human suffering .

4.0 RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

CEO Admin - Acting as chairman of the committee and responsible to provide solutions to
Safety committee for effective working at all CPG units
GM – Production - Acting as a vice-chairman of the committee and responsible for plant safety
Personnel Manager - Conducting periodical safety meetings, audits, safety maintenance and
documentations

Environmental Health & Safety Statement

CIPL is committed to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and shall take reasonable and
practicable steps to prevent and eliminate the risk of personal injury, occupational illnesses and
damage to properties.

CIPL shall take proactive steps and measures in the protection and the conservation of the
environment
CIPL shall therefore:

• Comply with HSE legal requirements wherever we operate;

• Implement effective risk control measures in all our activities; including operations covering
acquisition, exploration, development, production and abandonment, which will eliminate,
prevent or reduce risks to a level as low as reasonably practicable;
• Build an effective and resilient HSE Management System as an integral part of our business
philosophy and cultivate a desired HSE Culture;
• Provide competent workforce, adequate resources and organisation in all our activities in
ensuring a safe environment at the workplace;
• Promote HSE engagement between joint venture partners, regulatory authorities,
Contractors and key stakeholders;
• Drive and promote continuous improvement in HSE performance.
• Establish effective crisis management and emergency response capabilities in all our
operations.

CIPL requires all its Employees and Contractors and others to strictly adhere to this policy at
all times.

Personal Protective Equipment Usage Policy

All Persons shall use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by applicable
laws, regulations or Employer’s provisions.
The Supervisor shall ensure that all use these PPE.
All necessary Personal Protective Equipment shall be kept available for the use of all
Persons on Site and maintained in a safe working order suitable for immediate use.
The Safety Officer shall ensure that Personal Protective Equipment complies with
accepted standards and is used and maintained according to the manufacturer’s
instructions, independent of any additional requirements by law.

All Persons on Site shall wear:

 Safety helmets
 Safety glasses
 Safety footwear with steel toe-protection
 Ear plugs according to noise level
 Appropriate working clothing
 Safety Belt

 Hand Gloves
