SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT POLICY

Asha Cellulose (I) Pvt. Ltd., firmly believes in manufacturing good quality products while
following highest safety standards and considering occupational health hazards
microscopically.

In this direction, Company will continuously take steps to enhance awareness amongst the
employees to implement the Company policies.

Quarterly shop floor Safety meetings will be conducted and the suggestions from the
employees, regarding elimination of unsafe conditions / unsafe acts in the plant, will be
implemented.

The Company sincerely believes that the standard of Safety, Health & Environment is a line
responsibility. Line supervisor will be delegated adequate responsibility for implementing
Safety, Health & Environment standards.

Each employee has an individual responsibility to follow safe practices and to detect and report
unsafe conditions to his superior.

A detailed on-site, off-site emergency plan is prepared and mock drills will be conducted
periodically to improve the preparedness of the employees during emergencies.

A safety manual is prepared in mother tongue and will be made available to all the employees.

First aid training will be imparted to selective employees as a First Aid Policy.

A through medical check up is carried out every year for all the employees.

The Company will comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to Safety, Health and
Environment and endeavor to make the work place and environment safe for all the
employees.

The Company will keep its employees, customers and statutory authorities informed of known
hazards associated with its products and available procedures and practices for their safe
handling and disposal.

The Company is committed not only to regular auditing of its Safety, Health and Environment
programme but also cooperate with the authorities to do so in the interest of general public.

Besides above functions, the Company will engage only those contractors, transporters etc.,
who undertake to abide the rules and regulations in force of the company.

આશા સેલ્યુલોઝ (ઇ) પ્રા. લિ., ઉચ્ચતમ સલામતી ધોરણોનુ ં પાલન કરતી વખતે અને વ્યવસાયિક સ્વાસ્થ્યના
જોખમોને ઝીણવટભરી રીતે ધ્યાનમાં લેતી વખતે સારી ગુણવત્તાવાળા ઉત્પાદનોના ઉત્પાદનમાં નિશ્ચિતપણે વિશ્વાસ
રાખે છે .

આ દિશામાં, કંપની કંપનીની નીતિઓને લાગુ કરવા માટે કર્મચારીઓમાં જાગૃતિ લાવવા માટે સતત પગલાં લેશે.

ત્રિમાસિક શોપ ફ્લોર સલામતી બેઠકો યોજાશે અને પ્લાન્ટમાં અસલામત શરતો / અસુરક્ષિત કૃ ત્યો નાબ ૂદ કરવા અંગે
કર્મચારીઓના સ ૂચનો લાગુ કરવામાં આવશે.

કંપની નિષ્ઠાપ ૂર્વક માને છે કે સલામતી, આરોગ્ય અને પર્યાવરણનુ ં ધોરણ એક જવાબદારી છે . સલામતી, આરોગ્ય અને
પર્યાવરણના ધોરણોને લાગુ કરવા માટે લાઇન સુપરવાઇઝરને પર્યાપ્ત જવાબદારી સોંપવામાં આવશે.

દરે ક કર્મચારીની સલામત પ્રથાઓનુ ં પાલન કરવાની અને તેની શ્રેષ્ઠને અસુરક્ષિત પરિસ્થિતિઓને શોધવા અને જાણ
કરવાની વ્યક્તિગત જવાબદારી છે .

સ્થળ પર એક વિગતવાર, ઓન-સાઇટ અન ઓફ સાઇટ ઇમર્જન્સી યોજના તૈયાર કરવામાં આવી છે અને કટોકટી
દરમિયાન કર્મચારીઓની સજ્જતા સુધારવા માટે સમયાંતરે મોક ડ્રીલ હાથ ધરવામાં આવશે.

સલામતી માર્ગદર્શિકા માત ૃભાષામાં તૈયાર કરવામાં આવી છે અને તે તમામ કર્મચારીઓને ઉપલબ્ધ કરાવવામાં
આવશે.

પસંદગીના કર્મચારીઓને ફર્સ્ટ એઇડ પોલિસી તરીકે પ્રથમ સહાય તાલીમ આપવામાં આવશે.

તમામ કર્મચારીઓ માટે દર વર્ષે મેડિકલ ચેકઅપ દ્વારા હાથ ધરવામાં આવે છે .

કંપની સલામતી, આરોગ્ય અને પર્યાવરણને લગતા તમામ લાગુ કાયદા અને નિયમોનુ ં પાલન કરશે અને તમામ
કર્મચારીઓ માટે કાર્ય સ્થળ અને પર્યાવરણને સુરક્ષિત બનાવવાના પ્રયત્નો કરશે.

કંપની તેના કર્મચારીઓ, ગ્રાહકો અને કાયદાકીય અધિકારીઓને તેના ઉત્પાદનો સાથે સંકળાયેલા જાણીતા જોખમો
અને તેમના સલામત સંચાલન અને નિકાલ માટેની ઉપલબ્ધ પ્રક્રિયાઓ અને પ્રથાઓ વિશે માહિતગાર રાખશે.

કંપની તેના સલામતી, આરોગ્ય અને પર્યાવરણીય કાર્યક્રમના નિયમિત ઓડિટિંગ માટે જ નહીં પરં ત ુ સામાન્ય લોકોના
હિતમાં અધિકારીઓ સાથે સહયોગ કરવા પણ પ્રતિબદ્ધ છે .

ઉપરોક્ત કાર્યો ઉપરાંત, કંપની ફક્ત તે જ કોન્ટ્રાકટરો, ટ્રાન્સપોર્ટરો વગેરેને રોક્શે, જેમણે કંપનીના અમલમાં નિયમો
અને નિયમોનુ ં પાલન કરવાનું કામ હાથ ધર્યું છે .
