Dear Sir:

Greetings of love and peace!

Our school is located in rural area of Barangay Mabini, Cadiz City where most of the family are sugar
cane workers and below poverty line. For this school year 2018-2019, our school projected more or
less 800 students. Since education of the Filipino youth is our most concern, teachers and parents give
their utmost support to students by providing their needs and for them to have safe, clean and a
school- friendly environment for this coming school year. However, resources may not be enough to
at least cater the needs of the students and the school.

In line with the DepEd Order 24, s. 2009 known as “Institutionalization of Brigada Eskwela
Program” or the National Maintenance Week (NSMW), we are humbly knocking at your kind
heart for help through sending us in- kind donations which will be used to cater the needs of the
students, to repair and improve our classrooms and other school facilities that will enhance the
learnings of our students.

We hope that you take this opportunity to support this program, as your donation will do so much for
our school and most of all for our students.

This will surely benefit not just the school community but also the community that our school
envisions to shape. Your help will surely make a difference and will be appreciated. For more
information and queries regarding this matter feel free to contact us in this number (CP#
09500701910).

God bless you!

DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES

Cadiz City, Negros Occidental

Dear Sir/Madam:

Brigada Eskwela, also known as Bayanihan Para sa Paaralan, is a nationwide voluntary effort of
teachers, parents, students, community members, and other organizations to do minor repairs and clean-
ups on their schools in preparation for the start of the school year.

The Brigada Eskwela is a school’s maintenance program that engages all education stakeholders to
contribute their time, effort and resources in ensuring that all public schools are ready in time for school
opening.

It is an event where communities, parents, alumni, civic groups, local businesses, government and non-
government organizations and private individuals including teacher and student volunteers devote their
time and skills to do repairs and maintenance work in public schools.

Mabini National High School will have its run of Brigada Eskwela from May 20-25, 2019. The
theme for this year’s Brigada Eskwela is “Matatag na Bayan para sa Maunlad na Paaralan”.

Minor repairs are usually done before the opening of classes. Maintenance work such as the repainting
of the roof and exterior walls, repair of leaking water pipes, ceiling boards, broken furniture and
windows, cleaning of toilets, and gardening are done by volunteers with the help of donations in kind
from stakeholders.

Relative to this, we would like to appeal to your generosity and benevolence to extend any help that
you could in cash or in kind for the success of Brigada Eskwela’s cause. We are in conviction that any
assistance you provide will go far in making all of our schools ready to welcome our city’s students for
the new school year.

It would be of great help for the school if this request be given most immediate and positive action.

We hope to convey our gratitude to you who are always open to extend help to the schools. Together
we will work for the attainment of the DepEd’s goals. Together we will work for the betterment of our
country.

Thank you so much. May your tribe increase. God bless you.

Sincerely yours,

VINCENT A. VILLEGAS Noted:
