Mommy J is a friendly person that is why all of them likes her. Despite her condition, you can see
through her smile that she genuinely happy. Through the actions of people around her, we can say that
everyone loves her. Especially her friends and family because of the letters in her room.

The attitude of the narrator toward Mommy J is positive. It is because the narrator visits the room
314 frequently, not just as a consultant but as a friend. The narrator who is doctor consultant gave a teddy
bear to Mommy J.

The lesson learned by the people in the essay is Mommy J’s positive attitude towards everyone. It
is contagious, one of the examples is Miss Elizabeth T. who is known for being unapproachable, but she
attends the party for Mommy J. Also, Laura and Marie who had not been on good terms, but they seen
talking to each other in Mommy J’s party.
