METHODOLOGY
This chapter describes the research design as well as the methods of the research.
This chapter further looked at the Research Design, Respondent of the study, Sampling
Design, Research Instruments, Data Gathering Procedure, Data Validation and Statistics
Tool. Finally, this chapter will identify the key theoretical aspect in the ethical
considerations of the study. All of this will provide support to the author’s decision to follow
Research Design
The researcher will use the quantitative method in presenting the data and
information in this research study. The researcher will be using survey questionnaire to
further understand the “Factor of peer influence on the academic performance of grade
Koronadal Inc”. The collected will serve as a reliable answer to all the question.
Respondent of the Study
The respondent of this study are comprised of forty seven (47) that are chosen
randomly from Grade 11 Senior High School Humanities and Social Sciences-A of
Sampling Design
In conducting this research study, the researchers will utilize forty seven (47)
of Grade 11 Senior High School Humanities and Social Sciences-A. The respondents
that are included in this study are from students of Grade 11 Humanities and Social
Science-A. Involved in peer group, this research study will be done at Goldenstate
College of Koronadal.
Research Instrument
The researchers will provide questionnaire for forty seven (47) respondents under
the Grade 11 of Senior High Scholl Humanities and Social Sciences-A of Goldenstate

The researcher will conduct this study step by step. First the researcher will be
having permission to the administrator asking for approval to conduct the survey. The
researcher will be having a letter of permission to conduct the survey to the respondent

INTRODUCTION
This chapter discusses the data analysis and presentation of data from 47
Sciences-A Students of Goldenstate College of Koronadal Inc. the purpose of this study

Based on the table above the indicator the most influential factor on the academic
performance of the students, 1.1 Friends who got a mean of (𝑥3.38) interpreted as
Strongly Agree, followed by Classmates who got a mean (𝑥3.19) interpreted as Strongly
Agree, and Lastly Schoolmates who got a mean of (𝑥2.7) interpreted as Agree.

Based on the table above the indicator, Q5. We always help each other with academic
difficulties. Who got a mean of (𝑥3.2) interpreted as Strongly Agree, followed by Q2.
I always participate in our class with my peer. Who got a mean of (𝑥2.97) interpreted as
Agree, Q4. We study our subjects after our class. Who got a mean of (𝑥2.93)
academics is better than the previous before I meet friends. Who got a mean of
(𝑥2.91) interpreted as Agree, Q3. My peer likes to persuade me in the class while the
class is going on. Who got a mean of (Type equation here.2.89) interpreted as Agree, Q7.
I and my friends dislike some subjects. Who got a mean of (2.55) interpreted as Agree,
interpreted as Agree, Q10. I often skip my class subjects to spend time with my peer.
Who got a mean of (2.17) interpreted as Agree and Lastly, Q8. We don’t always
is the institution should be provide workshops and seminars to the students together with
their friends. In connection, they will be able to interact, improve their social aspect and
boost self-confidence that will make them motivated and encourage to improve their
academic performance. Specifically they need to have team-buildings, retreat and social
activities. That can hone their potentials in terms on academic as well as in socialization
skills.
Chapter 5
The chapter contain the summary of findings it also contains the conclusions and
recommendation which were drawn from the results of the data gathered.

has the lowest mean (2.12) while Q5, “We always help each other with academic
difficulties shows the highest mean (3.21) wherein it is a factor of peer influence
4. The table 1.2 shows Q2, “I always participate in our class with my peer” got the
second highest mean which is (2.97). And also table 1.2 shows Q10. “I often skip
my class subject to spend time with my peer” got the second lowest mean which
is (2.17).
5. The table 1.2 shows that Q4, “We study our subjects after our class” and Q6, “My
friends have assisted me to improve my grades” got the same mean which is
(2.93).
Conclusions
1. We conclude that friends is the most influential factor of peer influence on the
academic performance of the learners. Therefor friends have good effect on their
academic performance.
2. The Humanities and Social Sciences-A always help each other with academic
performance.
3. We conclude that stakeholders should provide workshops and social activities that
can help the learners motivated and enhance their social abilities.
