Section 3. FUNCTIONS OF THE COMMITTEE

Ensure regular collection and analysis of water:

Evaluate Laboratory results so as to their compliance to standards:

Conduct regular or immediate sanitary survey during the existence of a potential cause

of contamination;

Inform the public of the latest quality of the drinking water in the locality

institute remedial measures to correct the deficiency of the water system

Review, approve or disapprove and endorse issuance of certificate of potability to water

providers

Perform other functions related to water quality assurance.

Section 4. MEETINGS AND OOURUM The LDWPMC shall meet once quarterly or upon
call of the majority of each members or as often as may be necessary as due otice to all rts

members. A majority of each member shall constitute a quorum, but the chairman must be present

during meetings where budgetary proposais are being prepared or considered. The affirmative vote

of a majority of the members shall be necessary to approved such proposal.

Section 5. COMPENSATION AND REMUNERATION The chairman and the members shall

perform their duties without componsation or remuneration.

Section 6. SEPARABILITY CLAUSE - if any provision of this Executive Order or the

application and interpretation of such provision is declared inconsistent with the local government

code of 1991 and the 1987 constitution, the remainder of the Executive Order or the application

and interpretation of such provision shall not be affected by such inconsistencies.

Section 7.- EFFECTIVITY-This Executive Order

Series of 2018 takes effect immediately

upon its issuance.
