Please note: Some of the functionalities may be different for SVMPC1t.

1.2 About This Manual

This manual is categorized in the following sections:

Section 1 – Introduction to this manual

Section 2 – Introducing SVMPC1
Section 3 – User main functions eg. Log in/out for SVMPC1
Section 4 – General overview of SVMPC1 main screen icons
Section 5 to 10 – Detailed explanation of functions for each SVMPC1 main screen icon

1.3 Who Should Use This Manual

This manual is intended for all users and admin users managing or configuring the SVMPC1 or
SVMPC1t.

- Users: To control the management points and scenes configured in SVMPC1 (Some
configurations in the system administration are only available for admin users)
- Admin Users: To configure settings for management points and functions such as system
administration, network and interlock.

2. What is SVMPC1?
SVMPC1 is a VRV centralized controller that can be controlled and monitored remotely from
anywhere by using a tablet or smartphone. SVMPC1 provides scheduling and other automatic control
functions that allows the VRV system to operate automatically throughout the year.
SVMPC1 helps you manage the air-conditioning and saves energy for your building or office.
7

3. How to Use SVMPC1

3.1 Log In
Log in with registered user name and password to use SVMPC1.

Log in screen

You can log in using the default username “admin”. “admin” user does not have a password at
the beginning. Therefore, please set the password for “admin” user when you log in for the first
time.

Note: SVMPC1 can be logged in concurrently using the same user name at the same time from
different tablets or smartphones.
8

Eg. Input Conditions

 Condition A: Management Point 03 turned to powered on
 Condition B: Management Point 04 turned to powered on
 Condition C: Management Point 05 turned to powered on

User can add output conditions for each output. The output actions will only activate if it satisfies
that output condition.

The output conditions are as follows:

- All Inputs Valid (eg. When all management points 03, 04 and 05 turned to powered on, the
output action will be triggered).
- All Inputs Invalid (eg. When all management points 03, 04 and 05 turned to powered off,
the output action will be triggered).
- At Least One Input Valid (eg. When one of the management points turned to powered on,
the output action will be triggered).
- At Least One Input Invalid (eg. When one of the management points turned to powered off,
the output action will be triggered).

If the output condition is true, the delay timer will start. Only after the timer has passed, the output
action will be activated.

Two separate outputs can be set for one set of input. Multiple output actions can also be set for
each condition.

9. Scenes Screen
Scenes function allows users to create a single button that activates/deactivates multiple aircon and
devices. A scene is a list of actions to be performed once the scene button is pressed.

The Scene function is useful because it allows the user to complete multiple actions with just one
button.

For example, the user can set an “Away From Office” scene. In this case, when the button is pressed,
all the lights can be turned off and the aircon can be set to a higher setpoint to save energy.

The figure below shows the main screen for all the scenes that were added. Users may click on the
desired scene to activate it. To configure or add a new scene, please use the scenes set up in the
System Administration screen.
