Exploring Nature
The place that I’m more familiar with in some parts is strange because, has something to
do with nature, mountains, relaxation, loneliness, etc. This place is located north of the hills by
Chatsworth in California, by the 118 freeway. It is a big ranch that I visit at least once a week.
There, I enjoy the peace, tranquility, and the people that work there because everyone is
amicable. The beauty this ranch has to do with nature and makes me remember when I was a
child when looking at the roads and animals that habit. There is nothing else to see besides these
big trees, horses, the birds flying, and sometimes these people working with the horses by
showering them or making their shelters better. I usually listen to music while riding the horses
or the motorcycles that are there to go on a small ride and see the ranch. It is a place where I
truly feel freedom and I'm around nature that keeps me busy looking at the flowers, or even the
small lake that is there. I can see the movements of the trees and feel peace inside my body
because there are not a lot of people like in school or in a city. There is a small brown house in
the middle of the ranch with just one room and a bathroom that helps to keep all the tools to fix
the horse's shelters and food that keeps the horses alive. On the left side of the house, there are
three corrals where the horses stay and when it rains they have their shelter covered with wood.
This place has wood from all it’s circumference because coyotes have tried to eat the horses at
night and having this protection is more secure. However, every time I go to the house, I usually
know what to do which is to go on a ride in the motorcycle more than the horses, especially this
big blck]]aclk horse that I’m afraid to go on a ride. Besides, there is not a lot of noise, there is no
danger of a police officer giving you a ticket on the motorcycle. It is bad because in some
perspectives if you fell from the motorcycle and there is no one to help you, you can become
injured and it will be more difficult to go to the hospital, but having places that have included
nature is fun and enjoyable.
