OVERVIEW For all participants to be aware of what they will be expecting and
doing if ever there will an earthquake.
OBJECTIVE For the awareness of all the students, teachers, faculty and staff;
together with the local barangay council, in case of an earthquake
or any untoward phenomenon.
PARTICIPANTS 19 Teachers; 400 students; 10 Parents; 2 LGU (Barangay
Council); 5 Others Total = 417
HIGHLIGHTS The alarm (siren) was rung for a minute, signaling the
earthquake. While the alarm was ongoing, everyone was
performing the “duck, cover and hold”. Remaining in this position
until the shaking (alarm) stop.
As soon as the shaking stops, the students immediately
evacuate the school building and proceeded to identified
evacuation areas guided by the class marshall and teachers.
At the designated evacuation area, the students are group into
their class sections. The teachers performed the head count, to
make sure that all students are accounted for. Then the Barangay
Captain and announced the termination of the drill.

RESULTS AND ANALYSIS The conduct of the drill was satisfactorily done according to the
evaluators, the Barangay Capt. Elbert Jimenez, Brgy. Councilor
Antonio C. Figueres and Mrs. Mirasol Lozo.
The school is lacking in equipment and materials for the
conduct of earthquake drill, so we have to improvised , like the
stretcher that we used for emergency evacuation of the “supposed
victims”

The students and teachers went to the evacuation area.

The students did the “duck, cover and hold position” while in the evacuation area.
The student Emergency Responders performed first-aid treatment to “supposed” victims.
The teachers performed the “Head Count.”

The evaluators, Brgy. Capt. Elbert Jimenez, Brgy. Councilor Antonio Figueres and Mrs. Mirasol
Lozo.
