Student’s must have a financial support by a parent and other organizations or in

government, specially to college students this support given by our government have
been started how many years ago. Scholarship is a support specially to a college
student to have some income or allowance used in some matters like other expenses in
their school.

Scholarship has a great part to a college life, there are some advantages and
effects to every student who have a scholarship. They need to apply an scholarship
program to get this opportunity. Based on DOST data, 8,994 of students are qualified to
have this scholarship given by Department of Science and Technology in March 2018.

This program helps a lot to the students who won’t continue their studies, they
give them chance to continue their studies. It can help the students first of all in their
financial state. They can select a University they want to study but they have a
maintaining grades. They can be stand out to their studies as well they will be
recognized by the achievement they commit and maybe it would be pleasure to feature
as an example of hardworking student.

But in other side, because of many aspiring students to have a scholarship there
are limited slots only, that can result of few students can get the benefits. While the
others are unable to continue their higher education due to lack of financial support. Not
all student is able to get scholarship because of the limited slots.

student. This is really important to the future of students to what they become after their
studies. Education is important for every one because it is the foundation of every
student dream. This scholarship program can not easily get. You need to exert efforts,
everything has happened for a purpose. Even though there are disadvantages they
need to accept the consequences of applying a scholarship.
