A Gift

A father is living alone in the city of Dhaka. He has two sons, Mazhar and Pranto.
They live in other cities. On Father’s day, the two brothers decided that they are
going to buy a gift for their father.

Scene 1

Pranto and Mazhar is having a conversation about what they should gift their
father. They are tensed. For this tension they are searching an appropriate gift.

Pranto and Mazhar has decided that they would go somewhere with their father
as they don’t go out that much. And for this they would like to take their father in
a tour.

Scene 2

Pranto is searching everything like what’s trending, where people are going. So
his social characteristic is extrinsic. But Mazhar wants to explore a new place. His
social characteristic is intrinsic. Mazhar likes moving into new things as well.
Which is variety-novelty seeking.

Scene 3

Mazhar knows that his father always likes adventure and so does he. For that
their OSL is high. On the other hand Pranto is thinking of going to any calm place
as his OSL is low.

*Conversation*

Mazhar tells Pranto that he has seen an advertisement of a hill track. It was
outside the city and offering a package targeting the customers on Father’s Day
(Mazhar is high in innovativeness and low in dogmatism). On the Other hand
Pranto didn’t like this place and the offer. (He is low in innovativeness and high in
dogmatism).

Scene 4

Mazhar then shows the advertisement. Pranto sees that it’s promoted by one of
his favorite sport person. He becomes lenient about this and thinking of his
brother and father he agrees (Attitude towards behavior model).

Scene 5

Pranto and Mazhar visits a tourist agency. The agency worker gave all the
information they wanted to know and convinced them to finalize their tour. (It’s
selective exposure).
Scene 6
Pranto, Mazhar and their father are having an adventurous time together.
