The study sought to find out the perception of USM-KCC students towards
having LGBT CR in the campus. The study utilized a descriptive-comparative
research method. The researcher conducted the study with the cooperation of 45
selected students in USM-KCC Campus as the respondents. The researcher
used a validated checklist questionnaire. It was modified to fit in the study. The
results revealed that the total weighted mean of thefemale perception was 2.80
described as Agree. This implies that the female respondents agree on having
LGBT CR in the campus. Based on the result the average weighted mean on the
male perception was 2.52 described as Agree. This implies that male
respondents like to have LGBT CR in the campus. Result shows that the average
weighted mean on perception of LGBT students got 2.95 with a description of
agree. It means that the LGBT students want to have LGBT CR in the
campus.There is a high significant difference between the perceptions of Male
and Female respondents towards having LGBT CR in the campus. Also there is
a high significant difference in Male and LGBT perceptions. But in LGBT and
Female respondents there is no significant difference of their perception towards
having LGBT CR in the campus.
