Brothel refers to premises that exclusively made for providing sex business in a secure way compared to
the street. They are often legalized by the government through licenses.

Escort is whereby the client conduct the sex worker through the phone and meets in the clients home or
hotel room for the service. This type of prostitution due to limited number of clients

Causes of prostitution

The alarming increase the levels of poverty across the world has pushed many to turn into prostitution
as way of income. Prostitution is therefore seen as a cheaper way to earn a living since no requirements
and training are required for one to become a prostitute.

Some social customs promote prostitution whereby prostitutes is seen as a ways of life and a legitimate
way to earn income.

Peer influence poses a great impact on the behavior of an individual. Peer pressure has greatly
influenced many girls into prostitution.
