Introduction : Everything has its history: what we like and what we are proud of, what we don t like

and what is blamed. Prostitution existed at all times. Latin word prostare means to sell oneself in public . The word prostitute came from this word. Since the 18th century prostitutes were registered and put under the police and medical supervision. If a prostitute left the brothel, she was caught and returned by police. In the 19th century the distinctive signs of the prostitute s costume were canceled, but their manners and defiant gestures still betrayed them. Newspapers contained a lot of marriage advertisements about experienced in love women. A new category of prostitutes even appeared hotel girls. however in the 20 th century A great amount of sex-services are supplemented with blackmail by the development of different ways of technology . A/ Prostitution s causes , effects and solutions : a- What is prostitution :
Prostitution is the act or practice of providing sexual services to another person in return for payment. The person who receives payment for sexual services is called a prostitute and the person who receives such services is known by a multitude of terms, including "john". Prostitution is one of the branches of the sex industry.

Prostitutions causes and effects : y Causes of prostitution :

- pauverty and unemployment - obsessession with sex - being forced by her/his cruel family members to indulge into prostitution for benefits. - illegal immigration. -family violence , sensation of reject and injustice - Sexual abuse: rape or incest these give rise to a low self-esteem, guilt, which can lead to

the commodification of the body. -addiction


Effects of prostitution :

Health effects including ( AIDS SYPHILIS ..) Crimes and violence in the sreets.

Emotional effects : rage, stress and depression . Addiction to sex.

C-How can we face prostitution :


Law enforcement needs to step up the regulations and penalties for prostitution in order to bring the numbers down. While no town allows prostitutes some do over look the obvious so it will then continue until it's merely uncontrollable. Which, will intern leave society in a hard place with busy street corners filled with drugs, violent crimes, theft and much more dangerous crimes.

B/- The reality of prostitution in Morocco :


Morocco has the reputation of having a significant rate of prostitution. While it may not be as high as perceived by many in the Gulf countries, Morocco - with the dual distinction of being impoverished and highly touristic - is home to many young women seeking a way out. While some go abroad to study or work, others turn to prostitution. Many work in smaller towns in Morocco and are patronized mostly by fellow Moroccans; others become part of Morocco's large and unfortunate sex tourism industry, from which a number of cases are prosecuted each year. Still others turn to the wealthy Gulf countries for work; some make it as hairdressers or entertainers, but others end up willingly or otherwise - as prostitutes. One phenomenon in Morocco is that of the student-as-prostitute. Conclusion :
All in all , The portrayal of prostitution in society can vary. For some people, prostitution is viewed as a vocational choice and expression of sexual liberation. Subsequently the impact and damage caused by prostitution is very often portrayed as a public health issue and a question of public order only. For others, seeing prostitution as a form of violence against women and a human rights violation allows for a broader range of impacts to be considered.
