generation coffee farmer who left his corporate career to pursue his passion of coffee

At the core of SLAY's team are more than 60 Coffee Angels (and counting) from
over 15 states and collectively speaking over 25 languages!

Each Coffee Angel is an owner of her/his Café empowered to ensure the right cup of
coffee is served, always and everytime.

Unique and proprietary blend of Robusta Cherry and Robusta Parchment from
the high altitude estates of Chikkamagalur and dark roasted to boost caffeine content
yet keeping it smooth.

Founders

Lakshmi & Chaitanya are the co-founders of DropKaffe which is the parent entity of the
brand SLAY Coffee.

They both carry a decade plus of experience in senior executive roles & consulting.
Chaitanya worked with Barclays Bank (New York), Director at KPMG (New York) and
Executive Director & CFO for Laureate Education. Chaitanya did his MBA from Temple
University, USA. Lakshmi is a graduate of Cornell University and worked with KPMG (New
York) and Mahindra Satyam (Hyderabad) in consulting roles.

Following their passion, they quit their corporate stints and moved back to India 6 years
back and been in the startup journey ever since. They both are married and live in
Bangalore along with their 7-year old son Samarth. As people, they are passionate about
learning, building and solving things and in the process creating impact around them. They
love traveling with their son exploring new places and cultures whenever they get a chance
and enjoy performance arts including standup comedy, music and theatre especially
supporting independent artists.
