 How is the Government making use of procurement standards?
 How to be sure that the item ordered is of good quality even the price is
reasonable?
 If you want to buy an item for your project, what characteristic or
characteristics of materials are you considering?

1. Factors that must be taken into consideration when choosing the right material for
their components and assemblies.
2. Talk about the Characteristic of the materials to be considered before working
with certain project.

B.2 Development of the Lesson


1. Activity
1. The students will be group into 5 members and will select a leader, presenter,
writer, time keeper and a cheerleader. They are given 2 minutes to read and
understand information sheet number 1.1.1. After, they will be given time to
write the important and difficult terms they encounter in the information sheet in
the strips of paper. Once the students are done writing they will post their work
on the board.

1. The group will present and share their ideas about the posted important and
difficult terms they have identified in the information sheet 1.1.1
2. The teacher will discuss the topic and well help the students understand the
importance of the terms they have posted on the board.

1. Will you buy a material which is less expensive yet poor in quality?
2. Will you buy a material a material not suitable for your present task or job?
3. What are the factors to be considered in choosing the right material before
working in a specific job?

1. Go to your group and share about the Topic discussed. Make a list on how
CSS business would impact the business in a certain community. What are the
possible factors that might affect the NC2 holder when performing his duties?
