Hello! I´m Victor Archbold and I work as a


tutor at SENA.

In this section, we are going to talk about


the labor environment you need to create
in order to achieve the best results and cre-
ate committed team workers.
You are going to meet an important Head
of Human Resources and her new assistant.
The boss is training her in her new job.
Well, I encourage you to learn a lot about
this interesting material.

Dianne, welcome to this great company! I hope the best for


you. I know you are going to adapt very quickly. Although,
the work here is hard, we have excellent work conditions as
you will notice.

nowned company. I know I have to learn many interesting

Knowing my team

Well, we are going to start with the process we develop here.


Firstly, it is important to bear in mind that this company is
concerned with human resources, and this is essential for good
leadership. Learning how to treat the employees, giving them a
special work environment is critical for the achievement of our
company’s objectives.

Yes. I have learned that the human resource management is


a significant task for marketing technologists, since they are
responsible for providing their employees with good condi-
tions, affecting favorably our company’s sales and customer
service.

Excellent! You are right! As I mentioned, HRM designs, manages


and coordinates actions to get better results from their workers
and to build an excellent environment. Also, enabling a better
workforce is a strategy for achieving high quality objectives
and operational performance.

Additionally, HRM works on the relationship between employees and employers,


promoting maximum individual development through performing such functions
as: admission, planning, compensation, training, maintaining and monitoring of
human resources.

This chart is very clear. I understand that every step must


be carried out carefully in order to get a complete process.

Yes it is. We have to insure the process will be see- through.


Well, I’m so glad you can recognize our policies related to work
on our coworkers. The last aspect I would like you consider is
that in our department, we have specific objectives we need to
carry out.

As you notice, This section requires recruiting and selecting the necessary staff
to evaluate and monitor the workers’ performance. Additionally, HRM needs
to train employees in different aspects such as: the company´s policies as well
its requirements and the jobs they are going to develop. Another important
function of HRM will be to watch over the employee´s remuneration and their
welfare. Also, this department should keep the motivation for workers provid-
ing some incentives.
