To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to recommend Mebin Kuriakose to the nursing position in which he is applying

for.

I have been a nurse for seven years and am currently working at UCI Medical Center in the
Surgical Intensive Care Unit. I took a position as a clinical instructor for UCI School of Nursing
and met Mebin during his critical care rotation.

I supervised Mebin as he did his rotation in the Surgical, Medical, Neuroscience, and Burn
Intensive Care Units as well as the Emergency Department. Mebin always arrived to clinicals on
time and prepared. He showed professionalism with his classmates, myself, and the other
nurses in which he was assigned to work with. When changes were made with clinical rotation
days, Mebin brought to my attention the difficulties that other students may encounter. In
doing so, he showed his ability to communicate with others professionally as well as his ability
to advocate for others. During my time with Mebin, I have found that he is also very hard
working. While in nursing school, he continued to work as a nursing assistant in the
Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. I have seen him work as a nursing student and nursing
assistant and have observed that he is helpful to others and shows initiative regardless of the
role he is in.

It is my belief that Mebin will excel in the position he is applying for. He advocates for the well-
being of his patients, is flexible to change, and remains open to learning. He can work as a team
player and has also demonstrated his skills in leadership. I enjoyed having Mebin as a nursing
student and I am confident that you will enjoy having Mebin as a part of your staff.

Sincerely,

Camille Poniente RN BSN CCRN
