1. Choose a responsible class monitor. Assignments and announcements to the class

will be coursed through him/her.
a. Upon receiving this notice, the monitor should give me his/her:

ii. Email address; and

2. The class syllabus will be sent to the monitor through email.

a. Be ready for recitation in our next meeting. We will cover the entirety of
II. Philippine History and the Legal System of the syllabus.

3. Keep in mind:
a. In making your written assignments, DO NOT PLAGIARIZE. I

b. Make the proper citations. Good standards in citation are the Philippine
Manual of Legal Citations of Prof. Myrna Feliciano (UP Law Complex) and
the Harvard Bluebook (old versions of this manual are available online for
free).

4. Each student should prepare a 3” x 5” index card with the following:

a. At the front
i. Nickname (upper left corner); and
ii. Full name (Surname, First Name and Middle Name; first line).

b. At the back
i. 1” x 1” picture (upper right corner);
ii. Undergraduate course and school;
iii. Indicate whether working or full-time student ; and
iv. Answer briefly: Why are you taking up law?
