Amity University – Online Classes

Faculty:
1. Download Microsoft Teams (Link provided on your Amizone under “Live Online Classes”
2. Logon with your Amity email ID and password.
3. Teams (Groups) on “MS Teams” are automatically populated based on the faculty
allotment available on Amizone. Students of all sections/groups allotted to the faculty for
a particular course are added to the team with name “<course code>-<facultyname>”
4. Click on the team name and conduct the live online class as per the schedule published on
Amizone. Also advise the students to logon to “MS-Teams” as per their class schedule
published on Amizone.
5. Please refer help video hosted on Amizone on How to conduct live classes using “MS
Teams”.
6. After conducting the class, mark the class attendance on Amizone based on the students
present in the online class or based on any online poll conducted by you during the online
class.
7. Faculty members are requested to accordingly disseminate this information to their
Students and ensure the classes are conducted Live Online and attendance is uploaded on
Amizone accordingly. Please ensure the requisite number of sessions are conducted as per
Master Session Plan to attain students’ learning outcomes and syllabus coverage.
8. All faculty/visiting faculty members are requested to conduct the Live Online Classes from
the University Campus.
Student:
1. Download “Microsoft Teams” (Link provided on your Amizone under “Live Online
Classes” – refer Screen Shot below
2. Logon to “Microsoft Teams” with the User ID and password provided under “Live Online
Classes” – refer Screen Shot below

3. As per the class schedule on Amizone, click on the relevant team with name “<course
code>-<facultyname>”.
4. Please refer help video hosted on Amizone for how to attend live classes using “MS
Teams”.
5. You may be given quiz/poll and/or other learning materials by your faculty during the class
through MS Teams.
6. Your attendance (course-wise / session-wise) will be marked on Amizone as per your
participation record on MS-Teams.
