About E-Learning
eLearning is learning utilizing electronic technologies to
access educational curriculum outside of a traditional
classroom. In most cases, it refers to a course, program or
degree delivered completely online.

DEVELOPMENT OF E-LEARNING
‘E-learning’ has only been into existence when in November
1999 when Elliot Masie coined the term at his TechLearn
Conference in Disneyworld. It was the first time it has been
used in a professional context. Also, people in the industry
are starting to use the word ‘Online Learning” which
basically means the same thing (Gutierrez, 2014).
