Child Labour

It’s six o’clock on Sunday evening and Babu has been in the factory all day. He has worked
six days this week. Babu’s parents sold him to owners of the factory three months ago and
he hasn’t seen them again this year. Babu and many children in India hasn’t had an
education.
This isn’t the only problem in India. The International Labour Organization has calculated
that 250 million of the world’s children are working. The ILO, UNICEF and other organizations
have started to act, but it is a massive problem.
