IMPLEMENTATION OF PMO
ASSESSMENT:

1. LOCATION SURVEY: We are going to survey the location on the basis of the
geographical features to see the feasibility of bridge, if we can build the bridge on
site or we need to transport it from off site. Next we need to check out the depth of
the river and length of the bridge. Depth will be required so that initial poles can be
placed for the support of the bridge. Next we need to see whether the banks of the
river, where the bridge is proposed to be built is strong enough to hold the bridge.
Next the weather conditions of the area needs to be checked out, what type of
bridge needs to set up, so that depending on that we can finalize the materials to be
used and also the design .
2. POPULATION: An assessment on the population of the area needs to be done so
that we could analyse the daily footfalls of the bridge, and accordingly whether the
bridge will be useful for the people or not. Along with this we also nee d to analyse
and predict the peak time for the footfalls.
3. ESTIMATION OF COST: Depending on the material to be used and also the length and
breadth of the bridge we are going to estimate the cost of the bridge.

EVALUATION OF STRATEGY AND OBJECTIVES:

After doing the assessment, we should evaluate all the strategies which are made in the
earlier step. We have to consider all the situations, then we have to plan our working
according to that so that we can reach our objective in the best possible way.

CONCLUSION

So here in this project we have tried our best to construct a bridge. We have applied
many strategies and techniques to achieve our objective that is to make a bridge in a
most profitable way. We have used many strategies to make the cost as much less as
we can like we have appointed the labour on the contract basis so that we will pay less
amount to them than the amount which we had to pay them if it will be on daily basis.
After that we have purchased all the materials from the same supplier so that we will
get some discount. Then we will set our warehouse closest to the construction site so
that transportation cost will be less and also we will book the machinery on daily
basis. So this way we can complete our project in most effective way.
