SANG GYÉ CHÖE DANG TSHOG KYI CHOG NAM LA
In the Buddha, Dharma and the Supreme Assembly,

བྱང་ཆུབ་བར་དུ་བདག་ནི་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི། །
JANG CHUB BARDU DAGNI KYABSU CHI
I take refuge until enlightenment.

བདག་གིས་སྦྱིན་སོགས་བགྱིས་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱིས། །
DAG GI JINSO GYIPEI SÖENAM KYI
By the merit of my generosity and other perfections,

May all remain free from sorrow and the cause of sorrow.

བདེ་བ་དམ་དང་མི་འབྲལ་ཤོག །

May all never be separated from authentic happiness.

ཆགས་སྡང་བྲལ་བའི་བཏང་སྙོམས་ཤོག །
CHAG DANG DREL WEI TANG NYOM SHOG
May all remain in a state of equanimity,free of attachment
and aversion.

Decorated with Mount Meru, four continents, sun and
moon.

Thinking of it as a Buddha Land; I offer it -

You dispel the suffering of illness in sentient beings.

The twelve Yaksha chiefs and all their assistants,

Vidyadharas and rishis of medicine, divine and human,

The HUNG in the heart of the self and front visualizations is surrounded by the
mantra garland.

ཏདྱཐཱ། ཨོཾཾ བྷཻཻཥཛྱེེ། བྷཻཻཥཛྱེེ། མཧཱབྷཻཻཥཛྱེེ།

རཱཛསམུངྒཏེེསྭཱཧཱ༔
TAYATA OM BEKENDZE BEKENDZE MAHA BEKENDZE
RADZA SAMUDGATE SO HA

Visualization:
Through radiating many-colored light rays, offerings are made to Menla
in the pure realm appearing in the east as the color of lapis lazuli. These
lights invoke his mind stream, whence Menla’s bodies, large and small,
his speech as the mantra garland, his mind as the hand symbols of
the arura and the begging bowl filled with amrita, all falling like rain,
dissolve into myself and the front visualization.

By this virtue,

may I quickly attain the state of Medicine Buddha,

With unconditional compassion for all, the Victorious one,

Medicine Buddha, who cures the sicknesses of the three
poisons,

AN ABRIDGED PRAYER FOR
REBIRTH IN DEWACHEN

༄༅། །ཨེ་མ་ཧོ༔ ངོ་མཚར་སངས་རྒྱས་སྣང་བ་མཐའ་ཡས་དང་༔

EHMAHO/ NGOTSHAR SANGGYE NANGWA THAYE DANG/
EMAHO! Amitabha, the wonderful Buddha of Limitless Light,

གཡས་སུ་ཇོ་བོ་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོ་དང་༔
YESU JOWO THUGJE CHHENPO DANG/
to his right the Lord of Great Compassion,

གཡོན་དུ་སེམས་དཔའ་མཐུ་ཆེན་ཐོབ་རྣམས་ལ༔
YONDU SEMPA THUCHHEN THOBNAM LA/
and to his left, the Bodhisattva of Great Power.

སངས་རྒྱས་བྱང་སེམས་དཔག་མེད་འཁོར་གྱིས་བསྐོར༔
SANGGYE JANGSEM PAGMED KHORGYI KOR/
Surrounded by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas,

བདེ་སྐྱིད་ངོ་མཚར་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པ་ཡི༔
DEKYID NGOTSHAR PAGTU MEDPA YI/
joy and happiness without limit

 བདེ་བ་ཅན་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་དེར༔
DEWACHEN ZHE JAWEI ZHINGKHAM TER/
it the Buddha Land called Dewachen.

བདག་ནི་འདི་ནས་ཚེ་འཕོས་གྱུར་མ་ཐག༔
DAGNI DINE TSHEPHOE GYURMA THAG/
May I be born these as soon as I pass from this life,

སྐྱེ་བ་གཞན་གྱིས་བར་མ་ཆོད་པ་རུ༔
KYEWA ZHENGYI BARMA CHHOEPA RU/
without taking rebirth anywhere else in the meantime.

དེ་རུ་སྐྱེས་ནས་སྣང་མཐའི་ཞལ་མཐོང་ཤོག༔
DERU KYENE NANGTHEI ZHELTHONG SHOG/
Having been born there, may I see Amitabha’s face,

དེ་སྐད་བདག་གིས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་པ་འདི༔
DEKE DAGKI MONLAM TABPA DI/
may the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions,

ཕྱོགས་བཅུའི་སངས་རྒྱས་བྱང་སེམས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས༔
CHHOGCHUI SANGGYE JANGSEM THAMCHED KYI/
give their blessing,

 གེགས་མེད་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ༔
GEGMED DrUBPAR JINGYI LABTU SOL/
that this wish be accomplished without hindrance.

ཏདྱ་ཐཱ༔ པཉྩ་ནྡྲི་ཡ་ཨཱ་ཝ་བོ་དྷ་ནཱ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ༔
TEDYATHA PENTSA DrIYA AHWA BODHA NAYA SOHA/

ཞེས་པ་འདི་ནི་སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་མི་འགྱུར་རྡོ་རྗེ་དགུང་ལོ་བཅུ་གསུམ་གསོར་འཕྱང་གི་ལོ་
ས་ག་ཟླ་བའི་ཚེས་བདུན་ལ་གཙོ་འཁོར་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཞལ་གཟིགས་པའི་ཚེ་སངས་
རྒྱས་སྣང་བ་མཐའ་ཡས་ཀྱིས་དངོས་སུ་གསུངས་པའོ།།

ཕྱོགས་དུས་རྒྱལ་བ་སྲས་བཅས་དགོངས༔
CHOGDÜE GYELWA SÉCHÉ GONG/
May all the Victorious Ones and their sons of the ten
directions, be mindful of me.

ཚོགས་གཉིས་རྫོགས་ལ་རྗེས་ཡི་རང་༔
TSHOGNYI DZOGLA JÉYI RANG/
I rejoice in those who have completed the two
accumulations.

བདག་གིས་དུས་གསུམ་དགེ་བསགས་པ༔
DAGGI DÜESUM GÉSAG PA/
All the merits I have accumulated in the past, present and
future,

 དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་ལ་མཆོད་པ་འབུལ༔
KONCHOG SUMLA CHÖEPA BUL/
I offer to the Three Jewels

རྒྱལ་བའི་བསྟན་པ་འཕེལ་གྱུར་ཅིག༔
GYELWEI TENPA PHELGYUR CHIG/
so that the Doctrines of the Victorious Ones may increase.

དགེ་བ་སེམས་ཅན་ཀུན་ལ་བསྔོ༔
GÉWA SEMCHEN KUNLA NGO/
Sharing this merit with all sentient beings,

འགྲོ་ཀུན་སངས་རྒྱས་ཐོབ་གྱུར་ཅིག༔
DrOKUN SANGGYÉ THOBGYUR CHIG/
may everyone without exception attain enlightenment.

དགེ་རྩ་ཐམས་ཅད་གཅིག་བསྡུས་ཏེ༔
GÉTSA THAMCHÉ CHIGDÜE TÉ/
May this root merit, a concentrated unity,

བདག་གི་རྒྱུད་ལ་སྨིན་གྱུར་ཅིག༔
DAGGI GYÜELA MINGYUR CHIG/
ripen in my mind,

 སྒྲིབ་གཉིས་དག་ནས་ཚོགས་རྫོགས་ཏེ༔
DrIBNYI DAGNÉ TSHOGDZOG TÉ/
cleansing the two veils and accomplishing wisdom and
merits.

ཚེ་རིང་ནད་མེད་ཉམས་རྟོགས་འཕེལ༔
TSHÉRING NÉMÉ NYAMTOG PHEL/
May my life, health and understanding increase.

ཚེ་འདིར་ས་བཅུ་ནོན་གྱུར་ཅིག༔
TSHÉDIR SACHU NON GYUR CHIG/
May we achieve ten Bhumis in this life.

ནམ་ཞིག་ཚེ་འཕོས་གྱུར་མ་ཐག༔
NAMSHIG TSHÉPHÖE GYURMA THAG/
Immediately after this life,

བདེ་བ་ཅན་དུ་སྐྱེ་གྱུར་ཅིག༔
DÉWACHEN DU KYÉGYUR CHIG/
may I be reborn in the Land of Great Bliss.

སྐྱེས་ནས་པདྨའི་ཁ་བྱེ་སྟེ༔
KYÉNÉ PÉMOI KHAJÉ TÉ/
Miraculously born on a blooming lotus flower,

ལུས་རྟེན་དེ་ལ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཤོག༔
LÜETEN DÉLA SANGGYÉ SHOG/
may we achieve Buddhahood at that time.

 བྱང་ཆུབ་ཐོབ་ནས་ཇི་སྲིད་དུ༔
JANGCHUB THOBNÉ JISI DU/
After enlightenment, may I emanate

སྤྲུལ་པས་འགྲོ་བ་འདྲེན་པར་ཤོག༔
TrULPÉ DrOWA DrENPAR SHOG/
in order to guide all sentient beings.

བདེ་བ་ཅན་གྱི་ཞིང་ཁམས་ན། །
DÉWACHEN GYI SHINGKHAM NA/
In the pure realm of Dewachen

སངས་རྒྱས་འོད་དཔག་མེད་པ་བཞུགས། །
SANGGYÉ ÖEPAG MÉPA SHUG/
resides the Lord Buddha Amitabha.

སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་པའི་འཁྲུངས་ས་ཡིན། །
MONLAM TABPEI THrUNGSA YIN/
It is the birthplace for those who make prayers of
aspiration.

ཞིང་མཆོག་དེ་རུ་སྐྱེ་བར་ཤོག ། །།
SHINGCHOG DÉRU KYÉWAR SHOG/
May we be reborn in that best of realms!
