OBJECTIVES (2-3 per domain):


Psychomotor:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate, on cue, the correct technique for dribbling
while moving in different pathways such as forward, backward, side to side, and
through.
2. Students will be able to demonstrate, on cue, the correct technique for shooting
using the acronym B.E.E.F that they learned to memorize balance, eyes, elbow,
and following through.

Cognitive:
1. Students will be able to memorize the Basketball Jam Dance routine.
2. Students will comprehend the rules of the Hot Spots Basketball activity that they
will be participating in.

Affective:
1. Students will recognize and complement their peers for contributing to the overall
team performance.
2. Students will be honest when scores are being taken for the Hot Spots
Basketball games.
TEKS:

Basketball Jam Dance


Students will be in their formation with the instructor at the front.

Hot Spots Basketball Game

Students will be at their partner hula hoops on the half court with their teams. They will
be traveling to the other half court, picking a poly spot to shoot from and will take the
polyspot back to their hula hoop if they make the shot. More game info on “Skill Application”.

DIFFERENTIATION:
There will be different sized balls
that students get to choose to shoot
into the crates.
