 RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. The Quiz Competition will be held centrally and is open to all the students
(Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Research Scholars).
2. Registration for the competition is free.
3. Last date for registration is 20th October, 2017.
4. The competition will start on 28th October, 2017 at 10:00 am at UILS. There is no
restriction on the number of participants from each Department/Institute/Centre.
Participants must reach the venue by 9:00 am.
5. A written test comprising of 50 multiple choice questions based on legal rights of
women in India will be conducted.
6. Each right answer will carry one mark. There shall be negative marking of 0.25
marks for each wrong answer.
7. In case of a tie, the tie will be broken by maximum correct star questions.
8. A certificate of participation will be awarded to all the participants.
9. Participants will not be allowed to use their mobile phones and any other device. The
contravention of this rule will result in immediate disqualification.
10. Prizes will be distributed on the same day:

1. First Prize 2,000/-
2. Second Prize 1,500/-
3. Third Prize 1000 x 5= 5,000/-

11. The winners of this round will be allowed to participate in the State Level Rounds of
the competition which shall be held by State Women Commission, Chandigarh.
12. The State Round Winners shall then proceed to National Level Rounds where they can
get an opportunity to intern with National Commission for Women.
