Lesson AIMS:
- to review vocabulary related to family and relationships
- to develop abilities of solving different exercises using new words
and expressions (idioms)
-to solve exam type exercises
- to develop students speaking and writing skills

Objectives:
-to identify meanings from a given text
-to get used to solving different exercises
- to practice vocabulary related to family and relationships
-to predict information from a text
-to develop abilities of speaking about different topics.
FUNCTIONS:

- bringing arguments;
- supporting arguments with examples;

Activity 1 (2 minutes) –Warm up


The teacher greets the students and asks who is absent.
She tries to create a positive atmosphere among students

Activity 3 (10 min)- Practice


Teacher’s activity :
The teacher asks the students to give appropriate meanings of the
words and phrases given (idioms) in the text they have already read
and then fill in the exercise with the suitable idioms .

They will provide the answers.

Activity 4 (10 min)-production


Teacher’s activity :
The teacher asks them what their opinion about relationships via
internet is. She gives them a text about that topic and without fills it
they may predict the message

They give their answers orally
