My Student Reflection

This is Ivy Cassandra she is 16 years old. She is a form 4 student. She is one of
my favorites student and she is also the best student in SMK Bingkor for 2016 PT3.
She is hardworking person and shy one. I selected her because she wiling to learn new
thing and she is the type of person that not easily giving up. From the beginning of the
program I remember she is very shy but stay focus while I’m in front doing my
mentoring. She also keep asking me so many question and share so many idea that
comes up in her minds and asked me whih is the best idea so that her group can
proceed it, but as a mentor I gave them the freedom to choose whatever they like to
do.
Within month I can see her progress, her shyness is no longer seen she is more
confident she also stay until 5pm in school just to complete their projects phase. Day
before the YIC challenge, their project when wrong. They have to do their plan b
project and stay up til 4am. Sleep less that 2 hours before competition. Although their
group didn’t make it to the next round, she is so proud that she already to the best and
learns so many thing within this program she thanks Hap Seng for this big
opportunities that change his way of thinking.

This is Darrly Piang, He is 16 years old. He is a form 4 student. He is one of my

annoying student from the beginning, I dislike his egoist as if he know everything. I
choose him because of his curiosity and creative. I gave him a challenge if he want to
become one of the Bingkorianz YIC team he has to wow! me with his project idea not
just an idea but built it.
Almost everyday he and his team struggling to completed their project, stay late
in school and not even have the money to buy his lunch because he have to pay his
bus fare. From annoying to one of hardworking person in Bingkorianz YIC team.
During this program I noticed he became an opportunist person never give up and
keep volunteered to help me and other.
