I am writing this letter to recommend Poe Pwint Phyu Ko for the Diversity and Inclusion
Scholarship Program (DISP) .I was a lecturer at Mandalay University till 2023 .And also I was
the head of the dormitory in her hostel in 2018 and 2019. So, I have known her for the last five
years. Although I did not teach her directly, I notice her because she used to actively involve in
social engagement and youth charities.

I see that the scholarship is intended to go to someone who demonstrates strong leadership
skill. Ms. Poe fits this perfectly.She is a really active and friendly student. Moreover, she is
always ready to help if someone needs help. She often enthusiastically participates in class
projects. Her networking skill is incredible. If she is selected for this program, her skill will
improve more and more. I believe that she will contribute well to her community after the
program. She likes to join with the organizations as a volunteer in orphanage and nursing
homes.
