The Siege of Ulduar Part 1


1 Vehicles/Start What It Do? Achievements
Siege Engine Driver MELEE - Uses ram and speed boost, gets close in Dwarfaggedon

Siege Engine Gunner Anti-air/ground
Strategy: Have one chopper run throughout entire instance, gathering all enemies. Use speed boost
to keep distance, then train them back to main group.

1 Flame Leviathan Strategy Achievements


Siege/Demolisher gunners shoot down as much pyrite as they can before Unbroken
fight begins. Defeat Flame Leviathan on the first try without anyone repairing their vehicle.

Chopper – lays down oil in front of boss, uses sonic blast when oil on Shutout X
cooldown. Defeat Flame Leviathan without causing a System Shutdown.

Demolisher – Stays at far range from boss, since slow. Uses Hurl Note: System Shutdown only occurs when BOTH turrets are destroyed by Demolisher Gunners.

2 Ignis the Furnace Master Strategy Achievements

1 Assembly of Iron | 15 min Enrage Strategy Achievements
Kill order: Stealbreaker, Molgeim, Brundir. Sttelbreaker and Molgeim are tanked together by MT, Brundir tanked But I’m On Your Side

2 Kologarn Strategy Achievements
Tank must stay in melee range entire fight or AoE is cast that wipes raid. Melee DPS stays at torso Disarmed

3 Auriaya Strategy Achievements


Raid hides out of LOS (behind an urn) while DK (MT hopefully) casts Death and Decay underneath her Nine Lives
at a distance while she is walking towards the group. DK then runs back to the raid and pulls her Defeat the Feral Defender while
around the corner. This is to avoid Savage Pounce by the two adds which can quickly kill the tank. defeating Auriaya.

DPS/MT focus on one of her cats and burns it down while OT taunts other cat off MT and drags it Strategy: Feral Defender has nine lives
away (at least 20+ yards). Once first cat is dead, DPS switch to OT’s cat. buff. Each kill removes one of its stacks.

A Feral Defender will spawn which the OT will grab, then DPS will focus fire on it. When it is close to
dying, OT drags it away from raid so when it dies Seeping Feral Essence (void zone) doesn’t hit the
raid. Once Defender is dead all DPS goes back to boss.
Terrifying Screech (Tremor Totem) Can be cancelled by tremor totem. Players need to run back in place once feared.
5 second fear
Sonic Screech (Stack) Players should stack when this is cast to distribute damage as much as possible.
7-8k damage to all enemies in path. Damage split
between targets (hence stacking)
Strength of the Pack (OT) We need to separate first two cat adds to nullify this by OT pulling one cat far away from main raid.

1 Mimiron | 15 min Enrage Strategy Achievements
Phase 1 (Leviathan MKII) MT grabs Mimiron and faces him away from raid. Melee DPS stays behind, and Ranged Not So Friendly Fire
spread out around him. When Shock Blast is cast MT should run away from boss then re-engage after it completes. Force Mimiron to kill an Assault Bot with a
HEAVY HEALS ON MT during this phase. Rocket Strike.

Phase 2 (VX-001 Anti-personnel Assault Canon) This phase is untanked. Ranged stays at a distance and spreads out. Strategy: Kite an Assault Bot from phase 3

2 Freya Strategy Achievements


All “Elders” and adds near her must be killed first, along with adds. If alive, they will banish themselves and buff Con-speed-atory
Freya, setting her to Hard Mode. Defeat Freya within 20 minutes of the first
creature you kill in the Conservatory of Life.
Freya buffs/heals herself through adds. Each Ancient Conservator who is killed removes 25 stacks of her healing
buff (she has 150 at the start making her vulnerable to damage once all stacks are removed. Deforestation

3 Thorim Strategy Achievements
Initial Mobs – MT picks up group, faces Jormungar away from raid. Kill Dark Rune Acolyte first, AoE rest of mobs Don’t Stand in Lightning
down. Thorim is invulnerable. Defeat Thorim without any raid
member being struck by Lightning
Phase 1 Charge.
Raid splits into two groups.
Tunnel team – 1 tank 1 healer, 1-3 Ranged DPS. Runs into hallway that opens up on the left to force Thorim into I’ll Take You All On
arena. Defeat Thorim, the Ancient Rune
Arena team –1 tank, 1 healer, 1-3 Melee DPS. Stays in arena to fight. Giant and the Rune Colossus. (Tunnel

Tunnel Team
Kills Dark Rune Acolytes first (healers) then Iron Ring Guards. Once Runic Colossus is reached Charge attack must be Who Needs Bloodlust?

Group spreads out and avoids charged orbs surrounding arenas. Thorim casts Unbalancing Strike on one tank that
lasts 15 seconds, other tank must then agg Thorim who then passes back to original tank when Unbalancing Strike
hits them.

Hard Mode: Beat Tunnel phase under 2:45m. Sif will then help Thorim attack the raid, as opposed to disappearing.
Thorim also gains +43% health and +67% damage.
RUNIC COLOSSUS – CHARGE| Tunnel (DODGE Team must dodge left or right. Fires forward like Onyxia/Skadi’s flame breath.
LEFT/RIGHT)

RUNIC COLOSSUS – CHARGE| Tunnel Melee must stop attacking once this is used by Colossus.

Hard Mode: Beat Hodir within 3 minutes. Rare cache is then lootable, otherwise de-spawns. Defeat Hodir before he shatters his cache.
Biting Cold (RUN) Players must constantly move to prevent it from stacking.

Freeze (Dispel) Dispel on players affected. Mass Dispel works well. Vanish/Every Man for Himself/Blink/Escape

Flash Freeze (RUN/DPS) CAN BE AVOIDED BY STANDING ON SNOW MOUNDS CREATED BY ICICLES THAT DROP DURING THIS

close to Yogg Saron so DPS can AoE Guardians and Yogg at once. Once Guardians are at 1% health Thorim has
to kill. DPS’ main priority is Yogg Saron.
Every 45 seconds Yogg Saron marks one or more Guardians with Shadow Beacons, and launches missiles at
them to buff them. Tanks should drag the Guardians away from impact site to deny them buff, then drag
them back.

Hard Mode: Do not activate 1-4 of the keepers to engage hard mode.
