Grade 3 @ Home 

Weeks 1 & 2 - ​(April 8-9 and 14-17) Enjoy your Easter Weekend! 
 

Literacy  Math  
Reading  1. Play addition/multiplication snap 
● Read a good-fit book every day  a. Materials - old deck of

Some things to focus on during writing:  up to three digits. Some

try quotation marks as well as we 
were just beginning to touch on 
that before the break.)

a try, underline, move on). When 
they don’t know how to spell a 
word we don’t want that to 
interrupt their thought process. If 
they stop writing to ask how to 
spell a word it’s very disruptive to 
their focus. 
 
●Create a poster for your window 
with a message of hope or a 
thank you to essential workers. 
Email your teacher with a picture 
of your creation! 
 
Word Work 
● Some words sound the same but 
they have different meanings. 
These words are called 
homonyms​. Hoarse and horse 
sound the same but have 
different meanings. Name five 
pairs of words that are
