MINUTES OF MEETING
EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE (E.I.C.)

Dated: April 04, 2013

The meeting was held at 11:00AM on April 4, 2013. Following members participated in the meeting.

 Mr. Muhammad Tauseef Aslam – Director (P & QA)

 Mr. M. Mushtaq Ahmed – PM (Glucose & HHP)
 Mr. Ikram Ali Khan – PM ( Noodle Plant)
 Mirza Zaheer-ud-Din – Assistant Manager Maintenance
 Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed– Stores Representative
 Mr. Muhammad Asim – APM (Soap Finishing)
 Mirza Aftab Ahmad – Secretary EIC / Chief Chemist, QAD

The meeting was chaired by Muhammad Tauseef Aslam (Director – P & QA).

1. Minutes of last meeting held on March 28, 2013 were confirmed.

2. As advised by the Chairperson, every HOD / Process Owner must arrange “One Point Lessons” at
least once in a month to improve the Efficiency.
3. The Chairperson also added that a revised issue of training SOP (ADMN/2/008) is circulated to all
Departments; every HOD must follow that SOP & prepare records accordingly too.
4. All committee members agreed that most of employees are not educated. Management should hire
educated persons on merit basis. For that purpose Employee Selection Criteria should be well-
defined.
5. Most of the newly hired employees have same salary as that of experienced employees because of
salary structures revision on government level. This has increased negative thinking among
experienced employees. So management should take it serious and take necessary actions to reduce
this issue.
6. As company is looking for skilled & qualified personals. Management should compensate against
residence facility to attract skilled & qualified personals from other cities too.

The meeting was adjourned with a decision to elaborate case by case suggestions from the next
meeting onward.
