MINUTES OF MEETING
EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE (E.I.C.)

Dated: April 11, 2013

The meeting was held at 11:00AM on April 11, 2013. Following members participated in the meeting.

 Mr. M. Mushtaq Ahmed – PM (Glucose & HHP)
 Mr. Ikram Ali Khan – PM ( Noodle Plant)
 Mirza Zaheer-ud-Din – Assistant Manager Maintenance
 Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed– Stores Representative
 Mr. Muhammad Asim – APM (Soap Finishing)
 Mirza Aftab Ahmad – Secretary E.I.C. / Chief Chemist, QAD

The meeting was chaired by Muhammad Tauseef Aslam (Director – P & QA).

1. Minutes of last meeting held on April 04, 2013 were confirmed.

2. The chair advised against the point # 5 from the last EIC meeting dated: April 04, 2013 that there
must be a Grading System & Pay Slab against Grades to rectify the disparity between employees.
Example: Helper (unskilled / semi-skilled), Asst. Operator (Skill 2) & Operator (Skill 1).
3. Contractual Labor must have same frequency as company’s management to reduce the complaints.
For that purpose Management (Production) should train & arrange “One Point Lessons” to the
supervisory staff of contractual labor and will keep their training record. After that Contractual
Supervisors will train the lower Grade workers and will ensure the compliance.
4. It is decided and agreed by Stores Representative that production can provide Material Issuance
Requisition twice a day (if required).
5. Stores & Production (Soap) representatives appreciated Mr. Zaheer-ud-Din because of his
cooperation for getting things done mentioned in RBPL’s Audit Report.

The meeting was adjourned with a decision to elaborate case by case suggestions from the next
meeting onward.
