To

Subject: Application regarding requesting the Honorable Chief Justice of Punjab and

Chandigarh to immediately release the payments of all the bills of the Advocates,

which are pending in regard to all the panels like Mediation, Legal Services

Authority and all other authorities in the states of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.

Sir

With due respect, it is humble submission before your good self that due to COVID-19, there is

a total lockdown in India for past 3 weeks and there is a very bad situation going on in the states

of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. Even the Punjab and Haryana High Court has also been

closed till 15.04.2020.

There are so many young lawyers practicing in Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar

Association, who are also on the panel of Mediation, legal aid Authority etc. and also various

other authorities in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, who are completely dependent on the

income from the profession only.

Now due to the lockdown and now even the curfew in Punjab and Chandigarh because of

COVID-19, the young lawyers have no other source of income to survive in these difficult days.

Therefore this is humble request that on behalf of all such young lawyers, a request may be

submitted with the honorable Chief Justice and all the authorities in the states of Punjab,

Haryana and Chandigarh to immediately release the payment of the bills, which are pending for

past many months, so that in this worst situation, they can manage and survive with their family.
