Configure OSPF Area 2 such that
there are no Type 5 link‐state advertisements(LSAs) in the area,
R1 should generate a default route (LSA 7)

Redistribution
Everything is Fine in routing table
But we fail to satisfy the condition . All device must be reachable to each other , so we need
redistribution
Redistribution Page 10
Task 2.2 (EIGRP‐> OSPF)
1. On R3,
a. redistribute from EIGRP 100 into OSPF with metric‐type 2.
b. redistribute from EIGRP 100 into EIGRP YY.
c. However three networks 198.2.1.0 198.2.3.0 and 198.2.5.0 should be aggregated into a single
address with the most specific mask possible.
2. On OSPF AREA0, EIGRP 100 routers should be choose the connection through R3 and Should be seen
as one path .
3. On R1,
a. mutual redistribute between OSPF and EIGRP YY.
b. However all of the routes that are indicated below from Backbone 3 (EIGRP 100) should not be
redistributed between both protocols. (Use route maps to accomplish this requirement. All
route maps should utilize the same access lists.)

What is the Role of R3
It is provide Connectivity between Back EIGRP 100 into two Routing Doman (OSPF YY and EIGRP YY)
So we need verify SW1, R5

Reason
We do not want to see EIGRP 100 routes into SW4 (SW4 is NSSA Area)
Here is some interested point
1. ON SW4: When EIGRP YY route Redistribute into RIP , it also Contain EIGRP 100 routes
Redistribution Page 22
2. ON R2: When RIP Route Redistribute into OSPF YY area 2, Route learn more specific route from
R4 , and get Summary route from R1,
a. R2 Prefer R4 Route for EIGRP 100 rather then summary Routes
b. We know the property of OSPF Area 2, we only want to advertise summary routes not EIGRP
100 routes
i. Read Task 2.2.3(B)
1) However all of the routes that are indicated below from Backbone 3 (EIGRP 100)
should not be redistributed between both protocols. (Use route maps to
accomplish this requirement. All route maps should utilize the same access
lists.)
a) It means R1 learn EIGRP 100 routes from R5 and SW1
b) Its block EIGRP100 routes goes into OSPF area 2
i) (Due to NSSA default Route originator)
ii) So if we redistribute EIGRP ‐> OSPF on R1
One. EIGRP 100 routes become lsa 7
Two. So we block all EIGRP 100 routes from R1
Three. Then redistribute
c. So SW2 Must have Default or summary routes NO EIGRP 100 Routes
Removing EIGRP100
Remove EIGRP 100 Routes to go into OSPF

2.3.3
Here is confusion , it says about EIGRP prefer over OSPF
1. Complete Routing Domain OSPF , EIGRP , RIP
a. EIGRP Router Prefer First
b. Then OSPF
c. Last one is RIP
2. or Only R4
a. When R4 take decision , it will recommend EIGRP
In both Case, solution is valid and Candidate report, they clear the exams
Complete Solution in section 2.3.2

Reason
OSPF Route learn from R2 is declare the best ,
Add Offset
so we add offset when we redistribute RIP‐>OSPF
