1. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered

coronavirus.  Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate
respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.  Older people, and those with
underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease,
and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.  The best way to prevent and slow down
transmission is be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it
spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol
based rub frequently and not touching your face.   The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily
through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes,
so it’s important that you also practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a
flexed elbow).  At this time, there are no specific vaccines or treatments for COVID-19.
However, there are many ongoing clinical trials evaluating potential treatments. One of the ways
that can be done to suppress the spread of this virus is that social distancing.

2. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) have described social distancing as a
set of "methods for reducing frequency and closeness of contact between people in order to
decrease the risk of transmission of disease".During the 2019–2020 coronavirus pandemic, the
CDC revised the definition of social distancing as "remaining out of congregrate settings,
avoiding mass gatherings, and maintaining distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) from
others when possible."

Previously, in 2009, the WHO described social distancing as "keeping at least an arm's length
distance from others, and minimizing gatherings".It is combined with good respiratory hygiene
and hand washing, and is considered the most feasible way to reduce or delay a pandemic.

3. After the popularity of social organization, the World Health Organization (WHO) changed
using the term social distancing to physical. Based on what it means, physical distancing refers
to the physical distance between one man and another. Who certainly has his reasons for
replacing the social gored phrase with physical. One is so that everyone can strengthen and
connect with each other, even though they can't physically get close. "Physical distance doesn't
mean we sever social ties with the loved ones of our families," says who's head of the disease
and zoonosis unit, maria van kerkhove. The reason for this use is also in view of the mental
health of a person who is equally important to physical health. According to jamil zaki, associate
professor of psychology at Stanford university, social being provocatedis a wrong term. "We
have to regard today as' gangrene 'to stress that we can stay socially connected even when apart.
In fact, I encourage all of us to practice socializing from afar," zaki says. At its core, everyone
can carry on, maintain social ties with family and friends using social media or the telephone.
Physical, ganged up is done to keep physical distance, not social distance from others.
