Subject : Resistivity Survey at Critical Section – Package I

Work Order

Dear Sir,

Further to your above referred letters and our various discussions you had with us, we are pleased to issue this Work
Order to M/s. Watech Purifications (I) Pvt.Ltd. (WPPL) subject to the following terms and conditions.

1.0 Scope of Work : To determine the existence of the road below the hillock at Critical Section, Ch. 3/300 to 4/400
in Package I at given location to assist technical designs.

2.0 The contract value for the work is approximately Rs.27,700/- (Twenty Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Only)

3.0 The completion date shall be on or before February 25,2004.

4.0 Bill of Quantities:

5.0 Within one week of receipt of this WO, WPPL will submit a work programme showing details of work along
with all associated resource deployment schedule.

6.0 WPPL will start the work of mobilization and work at site as per site requirement. Completion of the work as
per schedule is the essential condition and WPPL will have to comply with the same strictly. The overall
programme will be modified by HCC PM to suit conditions and WPPL to comply the same.

7.0 WPPL will comply with the HCC Integrated Management systems for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
Management. It is the responsibility of WPPL to observe and comply all statutory requirements.

8.0 Measurement & Payment: Measurements shall be taken after completion of complete scope of work covered in
this Subcontract. WPPL shall submit his Final Bill in hard and soft copy to HCC for review and certification.
HCC shall make Payment within 30 Days from receipt of such Final Bill from WPPL after statutory deductions.

9.0 No retention Amount shall be deducted from bill.

10.0 All other taxes (except WC Tax), duties, levies, insurances as applicable shall be borne by subcontractor.

11.0 WPPL will ensure that proper safety precautions while working at site as per the safety procedures and
guidelines issued by the HCC and any incidental costs towards adhering to the safety norms will be included in
WPPL’s offer. WPPL shall provide certificates of equipments issued by competent authority to the HCC’s
safety engineer when demanded. Additionally WPPL will abide by all safety requirements as per standard
codes/standard practices/ Government rules & regulations etc. while using any equipment, manpower and
material required to perform the work. WPPL should comply HCC’s OHSAS Policy to this extent.

12.0 Royalties: LCC shall pay royalties for this work. However WPPL shall assist LCC for quantification of the same.

13.0 No mobilization advance shall be payable to WPPL.

14.0 WPPL shall make his own arrangements for electricity and Water for successful Completion of this
subcontract.
This Work Order (WO) is issued to enable WPPL to go ahead with all preparatory works.
