Case Background.
PE is an 18 year old Filipino that lives with his family in. He has a younger brother
who is 12 years younger than him. His mother is studying master of arts also at
University of Santo Tomas. PE is now taking BS Psychology in the University of
Santo Tomas.

Physical and Behavioral Observation


PE stands by 5”3 and weighs 52 kilos. He wears glasses and always wear his red and
black bag. His skin is slightly dark. He is healthy. He is a friendly person that is
willing to help all the time. He is a fun but a quiet person and always says sorry even
if he bumps into you accidentally.
He did not asked any question what to do while instructions were being given. He
quickly understood what to do. He quietly took the test and was cooperative in
answering the given questionnaires. During the test he was scratching his head
while moving his legs back and forth. After finishing the test he just slept while
waiting for the instructor to pass the papers.

PE’s test results reveal that his IQ range is average to above average meaning
he has the capacity to learn efficiently. This means that he has the potential to have
one of the highest grades in class. His score on the non-verbal test is higher than his
verbal test score.

B. Personality and Social Functioning


PE’s score in DOSC is aspiration, which means his ambition for his goals is
higher than other people’s. PE’s anxiety level in the 16PF test is the highest,
PE said that academics in college is very stressful compared to high school
and PE is very busy with being a class officer and campaigning for his
position in the College of Science Student Council. PE is a very ambitious
person and he is very motivated for his dreams and aspirations to come true
in the future.

Summary:
PE’s performs well in both verbal and nonverbal tests. PE’s high score
on anxiety is brought by academics and his extracurricular activities which
right now takes most of his time during the day.
