There are 2 kinds of
amazement

1.General expression

2.Specific expression
1. For examples:
Imagine if PSIS can
defeats MU 3-0.
May be, you will say….
• Fantastic!
• Wow, that’s amazing!
• Hey, that’s really terrific!

• This is terrific!
• This is fantastic!
• It’s wonderful!
We can call them
• The General Expression of
amazement
They are easy to say,
aren’t they?
Just remember them, and you
can express your
amazement by using those
sentences

Isn’t it easy?

What a fantastic game, it is!


What an amazing moment, it is!
How terrific, it is!
How fantastic!
You can call them …
the Specific expression of
amazement

• Why do we call it specific?


• Because there are some rules
you must obey to make this kind
of expression

can say….
1. What a beautiful girl, Agnes
Monica is!
2. What a beautiful girl!
3. How beautiful, she is!
4. How beautiful!

• WHAT+ Noun Phrase

Noun Phrase =
a/an+adjective+Countable Noun

Noun Phrase = adjective+ Countable Noun + s/es


Noun Phrase = adjective+Uncountable Noun
What a beautiful girl,

What + a beautiful girl


• What + noun phrase

Noun phrase=a beautiful girl

A+ beautiful+ girl = a + adjective + noun

Agnes Monica is! = S + P

Agnes Monica is! = it is optional


so
