The approved make list of major items (Civil-Annexure A & E&M-Annexure-B)

has been published in website for perusal and further action by CEs/CE cum EDs/SEs/SE
cum PDs vide this office letter under reference No. 2. ln continuation to the above, a
revised list of approved materials are enclosed for further necessary action.
It may be noted that inclusion of any make in the preferred list will not absolve
the responsibility of the field staff to ensure that the material brought at site /proposed
to be used for works are as per approved /laid down specification in the agreement.
Since there may be wide variations in rates/quality of certain items, it is also
enjoined upon all NIT approving authorities to check parity of materials/products at
their end.

This issues with the approval of Spl.Director General, Project Regio Chennai.
