ROUND 2 – COUNSELLING SCHEDULE (Revised)

It may be noted that for the purpose of refund the datefor starting the 2nd Round of
counselling is17th July, 2018. In case there is no 3rd Round, the 2nd Round will be also treated
as the last round of counselling

2nd Round of Counselling Process:

 A candidate, who has taken admission once and then withdraws, will not be considered for
admission during subsequent rounds of counselling.
 As in the 1st round of counselling, 2nd round of counselling will be held at the 16 campuses
of NIFT. NIFT Head Office will coordinate with all the Campuses and the Admission process
will take place simultaneously at all Campuses of NIFT.
 Candidates having Merit Rank are eligible to participate in the 2nd round of counselling.
Differently Abled Candidates who have been allotted NRI seats in the 1st round shall not be
eligible to participate in the 2nd round of counselling.
 Online Registration is mandatory for participating in the 2nd round of counselling. For
registration visit NIFT website www.nift.ac.in or http://niftadmissions.in.
 The process adopted for registration / allotment of seat will be the same as in the first
round of counselling. However for participating in the 2nd round, registration / re-
registration will be on payment of Rs.5000/- by way of online payment.
 Online registration is mandatory.
 Campus / Programme will be allotted strictly as per order of merit / availability of seats.
 On the day of counselling, the Candidate is required to report at the chosen NIFT Campus
at 9.00AM for verification of documents and allotment of seat. For further details,
Candidate may refer to“Counselling & Admission Process-2018” available atNIFT’s
website.
 Those who are not interested in changing their Campus / Course allotted to them in the
first round may not participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling. All students are
advised to report to their allotted NIFT Campus for Orientation on 25th July, 2018.Those
who have been allotted a NIFT Campus and are interested in participating in 2ndRound,
may do so from the Campus allotted, to prevent attendance / academic loss.
 The remaining NRI Seats will also be offered for Admission in the 2nd Round.
