Course Description: This course is designed to provide educators with the skills needed to understand,
develop, and administer formative and summative assessments using web-based programs such as Formative,
Socrative, and Edulastic.

Materials Needed:
 Computer/Chromebook
 Internet Connection

Instructional Goals:
 Goal 1: Teachers will be able to create formative and summative assessments using tools such as
Formative, Socrative, and Edulastic.
 Goal 2: Teachers will be able to assign formative and summative assessments in live practice and
through Google Classroom.
 Goal 3: Teachers will be able to find and analyze assessment reports in tools such as Formative,
Socrative, and Edulastic.

Course Structure: This course is an online tutorial to be completed at the convenience of the teacher. You will
watch the tutorial videos, apply the skills from the videos to create your own assessments, and complete the
formative quizzes throughout the tutorial.

Grading Policy: There are no grades associated with this tutorial. It is only for learning and reference
purposes. Please use and refer back to this tutorial as needed.
