Remember: For Multiples think Multiplication Tables
Lowest Common Multiple (L.C.M.): These are the multiples that given numbers have in
common.
E.g.
➢ 8 is a multiple of 2 and 4.
➢ It can be said to be a common multiple of 2 and 4
➢ Numbers such as 16, 24, 32 and many others are multiples that 2 and 4 share
(common multiples) but the lowest is 8
4:- 4 , 8 , 12, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48 2 4,5,8
5:- 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 2 2,5,4
L.C.M. = 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 = 40
